Fundraising Assessments

Do you and your staff work hard, yet for some reason - that you just can’t seem to figure out why - you are not reaching your fundraising goals?

To ensure long-term financial success and sustainability, conducting a fundraising assessment can be an illustrative way for your nonprofit to learn what is going right, where there are opportunities for improvement, and actionable recommendations for how to improve.

By assessing your fundraising strategy and operations, you will find new areas to improve, fill gaps that you may not have seen, adapt to a changing economic and philanthropic landscape, and strategically allocate resources moving forward.

Together, let's unleash the full potential of your nonprofit and create lasting positive change in the world!

  • So what’s this going to cost me? And how long will it take? What’s included?

Is it possible that you had these questions?

While each nonprofit organization will receive a custom proposal that outlines deliverables, activities, and expectations, here are some basics.

  • Pricing for a fundraising assessment for your nonprofit will generally be between $5,000-$12,500.

  • The assessment and review of findings will take approximately 10 weeks.

  • The fundraising assessment will include four parts:

    1) Discovery calls with your staff, board and or specific stakeholders

    2) Written assessment and recommendations based on review of discovery calls and written materials shared.

    3) Debrief call of assessment and recommendations.

    4) Two one-hour strategy calls to help implement the recommendations.

  • After the assessment and recommendations are shared, it’s common to ask, so now what?

Part of the deliverable shared will include ways we can implement together or serve as a fundraising thought partner to your nonprofit through a more robust scope of work.

  • "I'm so grateful to Susan for sharing her expertise to a very specific set of unique circumstances in which my board runs. She demonstrated an excellent approach to gain an understanding of our constraints so as to offer actionable guidance, which has helped me as a leader and us as a team improve the way we operate and aim higher in our goals than we thought possible."
